Jamal Ejlali Dies at 78

According to cinemadrame News Agency, Jamal Ejlali, an Iranian cinema and television actor, passed away at the age of 78 after a period of illness.
Ejalali, who was born in 1947 (1326 in the Persian calendar), had acting credits in films such as “Aba-Jan” (also known as “Thick Make-up”), “The Wind Twists in the Meadow,” and “Blue,” as well as TV series like “The Line,” “The Passenger,” “In My Heart,” and “For the Last Time.”
Ejlali suffered a brain complication almost a decade ago and withdrew from acting. He had told ISNA: “I’m fine, but my vocal cords are affected, and due to the tightness in my vocal cords, I can’t work.”
